Halong Surprise Cave

No trip to Ha Long bay could be complete without visiting "Hang Sửng Sốt" mean surprise cave, this cave locates in the heart of ha long bay, very far away and being is lochalong surprise cave.jpgated from main land by the water.

By 3 hours cruising by boat you can reach cave wharf, from here visitor have to trek 160 steps up to the hill to check in first chamber of cave where you are free in imagination with a thousand of different shapes of stalactite and stalactite, they look like dragon, turkey, elephant and so on but please no touching on them because when you touch by hand they will be died with oil hand, particularly, in this chamber you will see a small fresh water pond which was helpful with fisherman's life, because as you know, water in the bay is salty water no one can use, there for they tried their best to find out fresh stream water in cave and in order thalong surprise cave.jpgo save fresh water for long time in dry season they built the small bank to keep the water stay in side like this, by this time the cave was still free, no body has control yet

Keep walking to the third chamber, it is also ending chamber of cave, in here you will be disappointed by many parts were destroyed with many names were written down on rocks to show off they were first person discover it. but also will be surprised by massive and lots of tiny stalactites are growing down from ceiling in rainy season, having a chance to take impressive pictures
